It was an evening of perfect chill and vibes at Norrsken House Kigali during the second summer edition of the ‘Chillest After Work’ on 11th July 2024.
The event, which has quickly become a favorite among professionals and creatives, saw the 5th floor of Norrsken House transform into a hub of relaxation, networking, and community spirit.
The venue, known for its modern yet cozy interior became alive at 5:00 pm with a vibrant mix of music, culinary delights by Quick Bites, and a tapestry of refreshing beverages–wines and cocktails by 12 degrees and Le Bistrot de Kigali respectively, that kept everyone cool and hydrated throughout the evening.
As the audience mingled effortlessly, exchanging ideas and forging new connections, Her Majesty Cosmetics was on the brushes, offering face beats to female guests who couldn’t resist looking Bold, Beautiful, and Majestic.
Beyond networking and dining, the event offered engaging activities to keep the guests entertained through a raffle that saw guest number 32—Raissa, win herself a night for two at Eagle View Lodge after numbers; 32, 101, and 12 missed the offer, having lost their tickets.
At the same time, Cynthia Sano, with ticket number 7 from Her Majesty, won herself a shopping voucher worth 100,000 Rwf from Her Majesty Cosmetics to be used at any of the company’s stores.
Addressing the attendees, Ines Debets, co-founder of ‘the Chillest Afterwork’ stressed that the event embodies the spirit of community and collaboration, offering a platform for like-minded individuals to come together, share experiences, and explore new opportunities.
“Kigali city is small, but we intend to make it bigger by bringing people from all walks of life together to connect, exchange ideas, and work opportunities,” noted Ines.
As such, she and her ‘work husbands’ Stephane and Gael will continue strengthening community engagement in Rwanda’s capital in the next edition of the ‘Chillest After Work’ slated for 8th August 2024, same time, same place.
To participate in this epic networking event, all one needs to do is RSVP their name, email, and contact through links available on ‘The Chillest After Work’ socials before D-Day.
The Chillest 2nd summer edition’s success, a blend of relaxation with meaningful connections, was a joint effort of Kigali’s Leading Lifestyle Publication—SENS Magazine, Her Majesty Cosmetics-the only make-up brand around the Globe carefully curated for African skin, Vugana (Communication Agency), Araka (Digital solutions provider), Hilight Solutions and Eagle View Lodge.
