The campaign’s primary objectives will primarily focus on educating individuals about cancer and its risk factors, urging the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, it aims to emphasize the importance of early detection in cancer prevention.
In that perspective, they have established Turikumwe workout zones in select districts, offering residents an opportunity to engage in workouts alongside their favorite celebrities, enjoy performances by various artists, and undergo screenings for cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
These varied activities are strategically designed to cultivate a culture of health awareness, empowering individuals to actively adopt a healthy lifestyle and prioritize early detection practices.
