Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, is getting ready for an exciting comeback to the boxing ring as he gets ready to take on Anthony Joshua, the undisputed former world heavyweight champion. On Friday, January 5, Joshua’s promoter made the formal announcement.
The formidable Ngannou,

a 37-year-old Cameroonian, has only ever entered a professional boxing arena. On the other hand, Joshua,

a 34-year-old British boxer, has a long experience in the sport. He has won two world championships and an Olympic gold medal.
With his third straight victory of the year, on December 23, against Swede Otto Wallin, Joshua’s stellar record was maintained. Ngannou, on the other hand, grabbed headlines in October when he stopped Tyson Fury with a spectacular knockdown, but sadly, he lost his first boxing bout by split decision.
A much-awaited news conference is set for January 15, during which comprehensive details of the Ngannou-Joshua dispute will be revealed. The fight, which is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is anticipated by several outlets, including The Guardian, to be an exciting 10-round fight.
