A cave or carven is a natural void in the ground, specifically a space large enough for a human to enter. Caves are formed by the weathering of rock and often extend deep underground. For many, what they like about visiting caves for recreation is the sheer adventure and excitement of seeking out obstacles and obstacles and the satisfaction of overcoming them.
In my opinion, a spelunker is dedicated to exploring the special worlds that feature different types of rock formations, underground lakes, and other interesting things because they hope to find themselves amidst that not-so-easy adventure.

They can halfway relate to the cave formation process. I mean think about it, some of us experience a sensation of emptiness/gap in our souls that could be caused by the decline of what bestows firmness in us when we’re hit by a destructive wave out of the blue.
So to a spelunker, exploring that cave is one way of exploring the gap they feel. it’s a way of making them realize what they need to develop more and what needs to be changed or eliminated. it’s one way of navigating through the darkness to find a vivid light at the end.
