If there’s one phrase we use more when ushering in a fresh year than ‘Happy New Year’, it’s “New Year New Me”. For the writers, entering a new year can be compared to owning a new book, its pages blank, while holding the pen to write the story you want.
For those in the business world, it can be related to being handed a blank cheque and told to fill in whatever figures suit your desires. That feeling is priceless.
For the rest of us, a new year is a fresh start. A second chance that the universe grants us to retake what we couldn’t accomplish the previous year. We are presented with a clean slate (365 days) to rewrite our goals, resolutions, and aspirations.
However, as the calendar pages turn and we reach the midpoint of the year, a profound urge to reflect on our journey emerges.
At SENS we asked some of our readers to assess their lives in the past nine months from the lens of multifaceted aspects. Whether it’s relationship thrills, the quest for spiritual meaning, career triumphs, personal growth in fields like volunteering, or developing stronger family bonds.
This reflective moment was meant to provide a compelling glimpse into how diverse we’ve all experienced life thus far.
