Uganda’s megastar, Eddy Kenzo, is expected to perform in Kigali alongside Rwanda’s hitmakers in a Baba X-Perience concert at the end of this month.
Eddy Kenzo last performed in Kigali in 2022 at Bianca Fashion Hub. He returns to Kigali as a Grammy award-nominee artist after getting nominated for the 2023 Global Music Performance in 2023.
Eddy Kenzo will arrive in Kigali on March 29th to prepare for the concert, He will perform alongside Rwanda’s leading artists like Kenny Sol and Nel Ngabo who are also expected to drop a new collabo together soon.
The concert will also bring together the legendary Urban Boys – Humble G. and Nizzo who have been separated since 2021. Eddy Kenzo has collaborated with Rwandan artists such as Bruce Melody and Urban Boys.
“I am so happy to get back to my second home, Rwanda. It is a home away from home. I can’t wait to see my Kigali people and dance with them all night along” excited Eddy Kenzo says.
The 35-year-old was born and raised in Uganda. He became a global star in 2014 after one of his songs “Sitya Loss” became a hit. He later won a BET award and a Grammy nominee for his song “Gimme Love” with American singer Matt B.
