Tanzania’s leading music stars, Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize, were recently spotted together for the first time since their fallout five years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two mega Bongo Flava stars met on Tuesday, March 12, at the invitation of Tanzanian President Samia Suhulu, who organized a special Iftar dinner at the State House in Dar Es Salaam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Late President John Pombe Magufuli and other leaders tried to have the two reconcile but never succeeded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a video that circulated on social media, Diamond and Harmonize can be seen talking and laughing together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize’s reunion came five years after the latter left Wasafi and started his label dubbed Konde Gang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harmonize fell out with his former boss during his exit from WCB Wasafi, where he alleged that he was treated unfairly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A few weeks ago, he had vowed to reach out to Diamond on the phone so that they could end the beef and focus on taking Tanzanian music to the next level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2019, while leaving WCB Wasafi, the ‘Show Me What You Got’ hitmaker argued that he was made to pay at least Sh21 million to terminate his contract with the label, an amount he felt was too high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since then, the two stars have had back-and-forth arguments that gave birth to their feud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
