The traditional toothbrush needs deep cleaning and sterilization by following the following steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0It is worth noting that the detergents used to soak brush bristles do not come to mind, then include apple cider vinegar or hydrogen peroxide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daily cleaning method for your toothbrush<\/strong><br>After cleaning the teeth with the brush, the bristles must be rinsed for 15 seconds under warm running water to get rid of the remaining toothpaste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if the toothbrush is electric, it is correct to remove the head and rinse the inner part of the brush head by holding it vertically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Point it down under running water, then rinse the handle end. Use gentle pressure with your thumb on the toothbrush to remove excess water.<br>Store the toothbrush in an upright position until it dries in the air. Please note that it is not appropriate to cover the bristles when storing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to sterilize a toothbrush?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"736\" height=\"981\" src=\"https:\/\/sensmagazine.com\/rw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/11\/Zero-waste-tooth-care.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2862\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sensmagazine.com\/rw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/11\/Zero-waste-tooth-care.jpeg 736w, https:\/\/sensmagazine.com\/rw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/11\/Zero-waste-tooth-care-150x200.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/sensmagazine.com\/rw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/11\/Zero-waste-tooth-care-450x600.jpeg 450w, https:\/\/sensmagazine.com\/rw\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/11\/Zero-waste-tooth-care-225x300.jpeg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 736px) 100vw, 736px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour enough antibacterial mouthwash into a cup or bowl to submerge the toothbrush bristles for 15 minutes.&nbsp;If mouthwash is not available, prepare a solution of half a cup of water, two tablespoons of white vinegar,&nbsp;and a teaspoon of baking soda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After fizzing for a few seconds, stir the ingredients, soaking the bristles of the brush, for 30 minutes.&nbsp;After the aforementioned time has elapsed, rinse the wet&nbsp;toothbrush well under warm running water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br><\/strong><strong>Recipes for cleaning toothbrushes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hydrogen peroxide: A solution of equal amounts of hydrogen peroxide and water is used to soak the toothbrush bristles, for at least 15 minutes, before air drying.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hot water: Soak the toothbrush in hot water (180\u00b0F or about 80\u00b0C) for 15 minutes, before air drying.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple cider vinegar: Use a solution of two equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water to soak the toothbrush bristles, for at least 15 minutes.&nbsp;Then, soak the brush bristles in clear water for 15 minutes, before air drying.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is not enough to clean the toothbrush exclusively with water after use.
